Many people think that the main reason you hire a real estate agent is for the MLS exposure.  And, unfortunately, in some cases that may appear to be the primary service that's provided.  However, we provide much more than simply a For Sale sign in your yard and a listing in an online database.


Sellers often ask about our "MARKETING" - What "Marketing Tools" will we use to sell their home?  While we do provide beautiful photographs (if we do say so) and hold open houses, that is not how homes are sold, and it is not what you are paying us to do. 


When our listings sell in fourteen days (or less!), it is not because of what we were doing during those fourteen days, it is because of the work we did prior to putting the sign in the ground. 


Much of that is based on our experience with BUYERS - the people who, unlike an appraiser or your neighbour or your cousin, are actually going to buy your house.  Because of our experience with Buyers, we can walk into any home and tell you exactly what their comments - positive and negative - will be.  Our job is to pre-empt and eliminate the negative ones and highlight the positives.


You are paying us to position your home to sell before the sign even goes on the front lawn.  And you are paying us to get your home to the Closing once we are under contract.


So how do I do that?  It starts long before your home is listed...

After our families, representing our clients is our top priority.  We are responsive to inquiries by both buyers and other agents.  


We are respected in the real estate agent community as"good agents" which means that other agents will be happy to show our listings to their buyers. 


They know that we are professional, fair and creative, which makes our job just a little easier.


We are also dialed into the community at large.  Our job is to get your home exposed to as many different people as is physically possible. 


Because we live and work, where you live and work, we are constantly talking about local real estate. 


Our being active in the community directly benefits our clients.  We receive several calls or emails a week asking if we know of any homes that will be coming on the market, but which aren't listed yet.  In this way we start marketing your property before it is even listed.
